Welcome!

To all of our returning students we would like to say Welcome Back, and to all of our new

students we would like to say Welcome to Elite Dance Productions! We are very excited to have

you be a part of our 3rd season in Esko! Here at EDP, we encourage open communication with our families. If ever you have a question or concern, please feel free to contact us. Office hours for Esko are Mon-Thurs 4:30-8pm. Again, Welcome to Elite Dance Productions, where we build elite dancers step by step!

ACCOUNTS

For those of you enrolled in the automatic withdrawal system please be aware that only

TUITION is automatically withdrawn from your account. If you would like shoes, costumes, or

any miscellaneous items withdrawn you will need to fill out a separate consent form with office

staff. Statements will be either emailed or sent home with students, for those who have

balances. You may request a statement at any time and can receive them at the office or via email.

STUDIO NEWS

Newsletters are done every 3 months.  Newsletters will be handed out in class,

posted on lobby walls, sent via email and also posted on the website. Please check the lobby,

your e-mails, and the website periodically to make sure you receive all EDP updates.

FALL FUNDRAISER

It is time to raise some dough….cookie dough! As a way to raise money to go towards your

account, your student has the opportunity to sell tubs of cookie dough dry mix. This fundraiser is not mandatory but is a great way to pay for costumes, EDP apparel, shoes etc. Fundraiser packets are available at the office. All forms are due no later than Saturday, October 6th.

RECITAL 2011-2012

EDP holds a recital at the end of every dance year. This is a chance for dancers to show off what they have learned over the past year. Dancers will learn a routine during the year that they will perform on stage. We are confirming our date as of yet. We will forward the date as soon as it is confirmed.We are currently confirming our date and venuel. Recitals are typically held

in  May/June. Costumes are mandatory for all recital participants. Costumes will be picked out by the instructor in the fall, and can range from $65-$80 in price. These will need to be paid for, in full, no later than November 17th. Please put this date on your calendar. If your child’s costume is not paid for, it will not be ordered.

HOLIDAY BREAKS

EDP follows the Duluth  ISD #709 Holiday/Winter/Spring Break Schedule and Weather Related Closing policies. If schools are closed due to bad weather, the studio will close. On days with bad weather we will leave a message on our phone and our website if we are closed. If in doubt, give us a call or check out the website.

CHRISTMAS PARADE

EDP participates in the Christmas City of the North parade every year. The parade will be

Friday, November 18th and we encourage any students ages 7 or older to participate! All

competitive students must participate. Space is limited. A sign up sheet with more detailed

information will be handed out in class in the near future. Sign up is done on a first come, first

serve basis.

SHOES AND EDP APPAREL

Shoes may be purchased through EDP. See the office staff for proper shoe sizing and ordering.

If you would like to try to sell any used shoes that no longer fit and are in good condition, you

may put them in our used shoe bin. Please make sure they are placed in a Ziploc bag with your

name, size, and the price you would like to sell them at. If someone buys them, we will credit

your account for the amount you had sold them for. EDP has sweatshirts, t-shirts, sweatpants, and warm ups available for purchase at office. Orders are placed on the 10th of each month. Sizes are also available at office. Show your EDP spirit!!
