Competition Fees Due

The deadline for the BravO! Competition fees are coming up. We have moved the due date up a week, and it is now scheduled to be on Thursday, March 18th. All competition parents and/or students should have already received their statement listing the charges for these fees. If you have not, please see Kelsey in the office.

UMD Dance Show

EDP’s competition teams will be performing again this year at the annual UMD Dance Show. The event will be held on March 27th in the Romano Gymnasium. Doors open at 2pm, and show time is at 3pm. Ticket prices are $7 for adults, $5 for high school students with ID, $3 for kids and UMD students with ID, and kids 4 and under are free.

Class Pictures

Pictures are scheduled for Saturday, April 17th at Lynette’s Portrait Design, located in the old Grandmaison building. The times for each group are on the back of this newsletter. Just a reminder that pictures are not mandatory, but we would appreciate everyone’s participation for the group pictures! Thank you!

Bring A Friend Week

Does your child have a friend that is interested in learning the art of dance? Have your dancer bring their friend along to Bring A Friend week! This is a great time to discover what EDP has to offer to your friends and family. Bring A Friend week is May 10th-15th.

EDP’s 2010 Production

It’s that time of the year again to begin preparing for our recital production! This production is open to dancers ages 6 and up. Information has been handed out in class; If you have not received information, please stop by the office.

Pre-Registration

We will be giving out recommendations for 2010-2011 classes from May 11th-May 17th. This will include what the teacher recommends for your child to take for fall 2010, pre-registration sign up date and summer information. This is a great way for our loyal customers to get first pick at classes before we open them to the general public.

Please be sure your child is at the photo studio dressed and ready to go at least 10 minutes prior to their allotted time. We run a very tight schedule with pictures and will not wait for anyone who is not on time. All students should come with their costume and tights on and hair and make up already done. There will not be much extra room to do these things there.

Recreational Students: Make up is optional. You can do your child’s hair however you like. If they have a hair accessory that came with their costume, they MUST wear it.

Competition Students: Hair and make up must be done as it is for competition. Below are directions to the photo studio from our studio. Please stop by the office if you have any questions. Thank you.
